The Barracuda Message Archiver is an integrated hardware and software solution designed to archive email communications sent and received by users throughout your organization. The Barracuda Message Archiver automatically stores and indexes all email messages in real-time while making them immediately available for rapid searching and retrieval by authorized users.

Satisfies Your Legal Requirements Immediately

To capture new messages immediately, the Barracuda Message Archiver can take advantage of journaling features of Microsoft Exchange and other standards-based email servers. The Barracuda Message Archiver also has the ability to import historical emails and PST files. Right out of the box, you can satisfy any legal requirements to retain your email without the integration hurdles of software-only solutions or security and network implications when using hosted services.

In addition to offering the full set of storage capabilities – including single instance storage and built-in storage and redundancy through internal or external mirroring – offered with all Barracuda Message Archiver models, the Barracuda Message Archiver 850 and 950 models also include a hardware-based iSCSI host based adapter for high-performance interaction with Storage Area Networks
